nowadays "excuse me" is a magic word. just say the magic word and you can shove your way through crowds and have the authority to nudge people you DON'T EVEN KNOW. how good is that?

either my mum is very smart or she is just trying to irritate the bank officer. the things that she do just makes me sway my decision towards the former. it was like sun zi's art of war applied into a conversation.
dad's guidance is way long overdued. imagining him with more than shoulder length hair held by an american flag print bandana with a moustache is just weird.
so am i a mix of both of them? best or worse of both worlds, extreme worlds. i guess it can even pass of for a tcs drama script how the two of them got together.
i miss durians.

if i ever should see ravi from saesl again i would show him more appreciation of his guidance towards me.
on a more personal note it's time to make certain readjustments.
there's just so much waiting for me and i have already begun to let some people down. obviously i haven't been reflecting. i was staring at my own reflection off the computer screen and i thought i looked pathetic and empty. so i will let go one side of the rope and tighten the other. slowly finding the right tension, trial and error's such a bitch.
who says i am letting go? but if it slips out of my hand i will not be sorry. i'll just start over.
some singaporeans are just plain assholic and it stems from being selfish. i traced and traced, thus coming to a conclusion that they are selfish because they are too lazy to think about other people, which is a result of not reflecting. ah! what a scary thought, i MUST have been selfish myself too.
my take on the situation then? if you can't beat them, join them. there's just too many of them and i can't do it by myself. how low i have stooped tsk tsk, it's here i realised that i don't have that big a heart i always thought i had. somehow i think my colleagues at saesl are like fathers, providing me with much guidance and no surprise they are christians from the way they react and make decisions. i am so ashamed of myself.
i shall take the path less travelled. for the reason i do it comes from within, not from the outside world, nor because it's a pathetic act to cover my emptiness but i shall grace myself and fill myself full. most importantly it's a feel good thing.
do not be mistaken. i shall not be more forgiving in the least bit, shame on you for fooling me once BRING IT ON and TRY ME the second time. so don't let me catch you coming back to me or i'm going to serve it to you.

7 years ago, Mxtabs was started as a hobby by an aspiring drummer attempting to learn his favorite songs. Over the years, the tab site blossomed into a valuable resource for thousands of musicians. We've enjoyed hearing the success stories of thousands of guitar, bass, and drum players who have increased their skills and grown through their use of this website.
Unfortunately, it is now time to close the doors of Mxtabs. Most of you are aware of the claims made by the MPA and sheet music organizations that tablature is illegal. We dispute this view, and state firmly that it was never our intention to do anything illegal. On the contrary, we believed that we were helping the music industry and in particular, musicians. As we have mentioned before, Mxtabs accounts for over $3000 per month in sales of licensed sheet music via links from our tabs. However, since it appears that no sheet music companies are planning on offering any sort of tab licensing, and have no interest in negotiations, we have chosen to close our doors rather than continue to aggravate the industry. To this date, we have not received any threatening letters, but are closing on our own volition. Mxtabs was reopened in February with the hope of receiving some sort of response; with the lack of that response, it is sadly time to close.
We hope that you will be able to further your skills in some other way, and if possible, produce change! Tabs are an incredibly valuable tool for beginning musicians, and they should be utilized, rather than being destroyed. Please stand up for your rights to interpret the music you hear! And please promote tab licensing as a possible way of working with the sheet music industry.
Lastly, if you would like to support the idea that was Mxtabs, please visit the new music review and music news site, Sputnik Music, which was formed out of the community forums.
Best wishes, and good luck,
Mxtabs 1999-2006
PS: If any company is willing to work out a tab licensing solution, please email us at mxtabslicensing @ yahoo.com.
assholes.. mxtabs was my mentor.

CSS is an abbrievation for Counter Strike Source. at first CS was just a modification of half-life, thus it was called a half-life mod. which means that using the engine that runs half-life, modifications have been made so that the game resembles that of urban warfare. how timely the induction of this modification! just when kids of my age was oh-so-fascinated with terrorism and special forces, rifles and weapons etc.
CS became a big hit, so much so that LAN(local area network, explains for itself) shops started to sprout everywhere. soccer betting uncles saw these as a better alternatives, young dot com "entrepreneurs" with whatever little cash they had, basically anybody with the sufficient starting capital wanted in on this bandwagon.
CS had to had it's software upgraded every now and then just like any popular game, and by the time they got off beta versions and went on to 1.5 the craze died, because anything that goes up must come down. however die hard fans kept it going till CS 1.6.
CS had to make more money, and it being a half-life mod would just mean that anybody with a copy of half-life could play CS 1.6 for free! so Valve(the company responsible for the half-life engine) decided to use some marketing gimmick hopefully to net a few suckers, the retail version of CS was out! which meant that you could actually play CS without buying half-life, but for true blue gamers like me you would know that missing out on half-life was missing out episode one of a movie trilogy.
Valve then went further on to enlarge their nets, a story based version of CS was out and it was called CS condition zero. that went down faster than anyone could say "go go go!"
Gamers started getting upset and Valve knew they had to produce something credible to win their fans back. boy did they do it! half-life 2 came out and it recieved much rave reviews. i played it myself and i got to say the engine is amazing albeit being overly taxing on the computer system. sometimes i think that Valve are in cahoots with graphic card, RAM or CPU makers, because the more half-life 2 sold, the more the computer hardware part vendors earned in accordance.
Along with the out coming of half-life 2, Valve tackled a very important issue, piracy, with a program called Source. so that half-life 2 players would run their game and other half-life 2 mods from Source. the special thing about Source is that you had to go online to validate your product everytime you wanted to play, this is to prevent two person using the same product serial number from using the product at the same time, and thus the birth of CS Source.
CS Source is a very addictive game and i think i am stuck on it. maybe i can get sick of it before school starts, like how i got sick of DotA the day i ORD-ed.
oh ya btw ms mia, please work hard because i am just as excited! xoxo
before dear nice(???) trophy gets angry(violent, mischievious, hyper, bimbotic). xoxoxo to my dearest trophy! (gave you one extra "kiss", dun be greedy! i know what you are thinking)

i think guardsmen have a lot of pride, and the COs of all the guards divisions must have done a good job keeping it up and all, but if only they could convert that pride to national and not the possesive ah beng type.
was walking towards ACM when i saw this bunch of NUS sports camp people walking past, and this girl was wearing a guardsmen army shorts and it caught my eye, this fella behind her was not very happy my line of sight fell on her shorts, and somehow it just seemed like the shorts was his and he lent it to the girl. he gave me such a stare! head tilted up, nosetrills brandishing and mouth twitched to the side. woah! but i'm so used to this kind of stares and nothing actually happens further after staring, though once on a bus i think this old man wanted to pick a fight, my adrenalin was rushing and it felt so good! but i never got to hurt him sigh.
one day i shall get into a fight and test how useful those holds and locks they taught me are. then i shall see how easy/hard it is to dislocate someone's shoulders/elbows. and i always think how can i taunt a person into a fight. should i act timid, or be brazen and insult him? shucks if people nowadays stood up more for what they believe.
trip to ACM was amazing! and i always thought that museums are boring and ridiculous because they charge people entry fee for boring stuff. went in and realised the exhibits were pretty cool. thanks to samantha for such a great evening and showing me that museums aren't boring!
ah i shall make these few days more fruitful since i'm going to start school again soon.
